University Mail Services
University Mail Services (UMS) provides the community of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with efficient processing and distribution of written communication, reliable, and cost-effective mail service that is efficiently integrated with the U.S. Postal Service. UMS is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and operates out of the Bioinformatics Building.

Mail Pickup and Drop-off Times
The Mail Service Center is open for drop-offs and pickups from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. If you need to stop by in the afternoon, please arrive by 2:45 p.m. to ensure that we have time to fulfill your request.
Student mail and packages are processed by Carolina Housing.
